Lord have mercy...

        There are no adequate words to express the sadness over this wicked outburst of violence. I do offer this.

        Merciful Father, we pray you gather the lost into your unending love and joy. Bring them to your peace which cannot be measured.
        Christ Jesus, you who walked the path of the victim be with the suffering and lead them through this suffering to greater glory and joy.
        Holy Spirit, be with the families. Grant them your comfort and guide them in the ways of love and peace even as their hearts are rent by anger and sorrow.
